In recent weeks, several people working at Fagered's youth home have contacted me to alarm if a situation they no longer consider is sustainable. It is about boys in the youth home that are not boys but adult men, often from Afghanistan or North Africa. According to the staff who contacted me, they have taken in Fagared in some cases themselves told that they were lying about their age and in other cases it is obvious.
- Some of them are so old that they have started to lose hair and have wrinkles on their face. You see that they are not any young boys, says one of the staff.
Another of the staff says that frustration is growing for each day and that it feels terribly knowing that these people should be in real prison instead of being in a youth home for boys.
