Neanderthals
Neanderthal man, Homo Neanderthalensis, was closely related to our own species, Homo Sapiens. According to DNA studies, we shared a common applicant for 500,000 years ago. The request was probably Homo Heidelbergensis who lived in Africa, Western Asia and Europe.
The brain volume was slightly higher in neander languages than in ourselves and it is reasonable to assume that they had some kind of language. However, they do not seem to have as advanced technology as Homo sapiens, and their extinction may have been because they had difficulty competing with the modern people when they migrated to Europe about 40,000 years ago.
