Big alcoholcosumers are less intelligent

SCIENCE. New research shows that there is a connection between low intelligence and alcohol abuse, even when compensating for other factors.


A study conducted at Karolinska institutet shows that people who drink a lot of alcohol are less intelligent than the average.

The new findings also show that it's the low IQ that causes the stools to drink more to begin with, rather than their brains hurting the high alcohol consumption.

The survey material is 50,000 Swedish men as patterned in 1969-1971.
