In total, 364 members voted against depositing Trump while only 58 voted for. A majority of yes votes had been required for the matter to proceed to the Senate.
The vote is a symbolic grandfather for Trump because it shows that the support in the opposition party for a sale is very low. This probably due to the fact that Trump basically did not do anything that can lead to the provision under the rules set by the Constitution.
Donald Trump will now be able to remain safe as president when it is clear that he supports not only the entire Republican Party but also the vast majority of the Democratic Party in Congress.
